She deals with and specialises in Deceased Estates, Family Law, Personal Injury Law, Road Accident Fund Claims and general litigation in the High and Magistrates Courts.

With many years of experience in a municipal environment, I have gained a wealth of institutional knowledge. This has enabled me to maintain and establish extensive networks with various Departments and officials within the eThekwini Municipal system, with whom I have an excellent wdrking relationship. I have also worked with built environment professionals such as Town Planners, Architects, Land Surveyors and Engineers; as well as with Attorneys and Advocates. Consequently, I am able to provide professional services to clients in the following areas:

(a) Preparation of motivations for Special Consent Applications;
(b) Preparation of applications for the Removal of Restrictive conditions in title;
(c) Preparation of motivations for Rezoning applications;
(d) Preparation of motivations for Subdivisional applications;

Graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with an LLB Degree in 2012 and an LLM (Maritime Law) in 2013. She was admitted as an attorney in 2016 and practiced as such, specialising in litigation. She was thereafter admitted as a conveyancer in 2019 and presently runs the conveyancing department at FMI Legal. She specialises in conveyancing and deals with conventional and sectional title transfers, deceased estate transfers and timeshare transfers.

Rooksana (Sue) Dawray has been with Francois Medalie and Company since 2010 and has 11 years of Deceased Estates experience and administers our entire Estates Department.

She is an expert in winding up Deceased Estates and also has knowledge on Administration of Trusts i.e., preparing all ancillary documents relating to the formation of Trusts and various amendments to existing Trusts, lodging with Master and obtaining the Letters of Authority.

Samantha Hiralall

Debt Collection.

Samantha began work in the Legal Field as a Legal Secretary in 2008.

She has gained many years of experience in Litigation, Deceased Estates, Divorces, Road Accident Fund matters, Wills and Collections.

She is currently managing our Collection Department wherein she specializes in Arrear Rental Collection, Body Corporate Levy Collection as well as Movable and Immovable Sales in Execution.

Chris Cloete

General legal work including Civil litigation in the High and Magistrates Courts. Debt and Rental collections.

I have been practicing as an attorney since 1985. During this time I have dealt with a wide range of legal matters including Civil litigation which advanced through to the Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein.
